The apartment is located in the area of the Appian Way archaeological park (first road ever built by the Romans).  It is near the aqueduct and next to the metro which will take you to the Spanish Steps and other major attractions in 12 minutes, avoiding crowded and slow buses.  The neighborhood is very Roman, in fact there are a lot of local restaurants, trattoria and pizzeria where the local people enjoy eating.  This gives you the opportunity to sample the true lifestyle of modern Romans.  The apartment is extremely clean and family run, with air conditioned rooms.
