Terms and conditions for customers
The following details define the conditions upon which Ciao-Roma-Bed-and-Breakfast accepts reservations for the facilities described in its website
PRICES
Prices (per night) include
for Bed & Breakfast: Accommodation, towels and bed sheets, Italian breakfast, and cleaning.
for apartments: Accommodation, utilities (including heat and air conditioning unless specified otherwise), and a set of bedclothes and towels for every seven nights. Final cleaning is included in the price unless specified otherwise.
MINIMUM STAY
The minimum required stay for the B&B is 2 nights, starting any day of the week.
The minimum required stay for a self-catered apartment is 3 nights, starting any day of the week. An extra amount will be applied for shorter stays (less than 3 nights long), depending on availability.
RESERVATIONS AND METHODS OF PAYMENT
Requests can be sent via email. A reply will be sent within 24 hours confirming the availability at the moment of the facility requested (reply sent at the email address provided by the client). After receiving back the confirmation of the booking along with the payment of the 15% deposit, will our staff issue a confirmation e-mail (with the complete address and telephone number of your accommodation) which you will print out and present at the check in.
Should your arrival time be delayed for any reason you must contact your host/hostess directly.
The payment of the 15% deposit can be done via Paypal or via an electronic bank transfer.
Clients may pay via PayPal using a major credit card and it is not necessary to have a PayPal account. Detailed instructions and links will be sent via email.
The balance has to be paid cash upon arrival directly to the owner.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancelling fees will be applied as follows: the 15% deposit will not be refunded.If you change your dates, this becomes a new rental. You may need to put in a new deposit.
RULES
Animals are not allowed in any of our facilities, unless specified otherwise.
Most of our facilities are smoke-free, unless specified otherwise.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES
Guests are expected to check in from 12:00 pm (midday) and check out at 10:00 am. Arrivals or departures outside the normal times have to be agreed and arranged in advance with the owner.
The owner will be at the apartment 15 minutes before the scheduled arrival time provided by the client.
The guests are kindly asked to show their passport or ID for every guest staying at the Bed & Breakfast or at the apartments.
It is not allowed to bring guests in the apartment or B&B without the owner's permission.
It is understood that the contract automatically expires at the end of the rental term as stated in the contract.
SECURITY DEPOSIT and CLIENT'S RESPONSIBILITIES
A security deposit may be required as indicated on the web site. If so, it is payable cash to the owner on arrival and will be entirely refunded before departure if there has been no damage. Otherwise, the amount corresponding to the damage will be kept by the owner.
If the apartment and/or any of its contents are damaged by client, or his/hers guests, the client will be held responsible for the damage.
Clients are not allowed to exceed the number of guests specified in the reservation, unless an agreement has been reached with the owner prior to the guests' arrival with a possible extra cost.
Clients are kindly asked to pay maximum attention to their keys cases. In case of loss or damage, the client will be asked to pay for all related costs before departure.
Clients are expected to behave in a correct and responsible way.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS AND SAFETY
Neither the owners of our facilities nor Ciao-Roma-Bed-and-Breakfast is in any way responsible for the clients' personal belongings
ACCESS
The owner reserves the right to access the apartment or B&B if urgent maintenance is required.
EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL
In the event of a problem with the facility beyond the control of Ciao-Roma-Bed-And-Breakfast, we reserve the right to provide alternative accommodation with the same characteristics as the ones chosen by the client.
PRIVACY POLICY
All personal data will be used confidentially and in accordance with Italian Law n. 675/96 regarding privacy. The information submitted will not be published nor shared with any third parties.
JURISDICTION
Both the booking contract and the rental contract are governed by the law of Italy.
